Here’s a dish called Roll Pork or Pork Roll. (豚肉ロ~ル) I will make this dishes this weekend and take detail photo of how to make it. I tried to draw them up but my drawings are not so good looking. So let’s get started with what we need.

Ingredients:
☆ 12 pieces of sliced pork sirlon (buta niku)
☆ 3 pickled plums (umeboshi)
☆ 8 – 9cm Nagaimo (it’s like a yam)
☆ starch (teki-ryo)
☆ 12 pieces of green perilla (aojiso)

Now that we have what we need, let’s get started with the cooking.

Let’s start with the pickled plum, the seed of the pickled plum is taken and make it detail with a kitchen knife.
Next we need to peel the nagaimo and cut it in half. Thancut into cylinde shapes of 3 – 4 cm. Now get one piece of pork, extended to the cutting board. Add the starch thinly applied, the green perilla on the forward and add the pickled plum thinly spread on top of the green perilla. Next put on the nagaimo and roll it up forward.(note: pork is wrapped so that both sides is folded).

Now add some oil to your frying pan with medium heat, add the the pork rolls to the frying pan and let it roast while rolling it for about 4 – 5 minutes. When it’s nicely brown to your liking, cut in halfes and serve on a plate. There you are finished. This maybe alittle hard to understand, but I will add photos this weekend in more detailed. Thanks for check this recipe and we will see you soon. Have a great weekend.
