Good Morning Everyone, hope everything is going well for you.  Well it looks like a Super Typhoon will be coming our way in the next couple days.  Glad to be off from work too.  Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is a Japanese Side dish, I have been getting a lot of emails asking for more side dishes.  So here one for those of you who requested.  It’s called Cucumber with Miso Dressing.  Simple to make and very delicious to go with any main course meal.  Enjoy.

Well, let’s get started with what we need to make our Japanese Recipe Cucumber with Miso Dressing.

Ingredients

☆ 3 cucumber, cut into thinly slice

☆ 1/2 tsp salt

☆ 1 1/2 cup water

☆ 1 1/2 tbsp miso

☆ a little of soy sauce

☆a little of dried bonito flakes

Direction

1. Place the water and salt, mix well, soak the cucumber for about 10 min.

2. When it soften, rinse the cucumber in cold water and squeeze out of the moisture.

3. Place the miso and soy sauce in a bowl, and mix well, add the cucumber and dressing well. Arrange to a small bowl, sprinkles the dried bonito flakes. Serve immediately.

This Recipes Serves 4 people.  There you have it.
