☆Braised Deep-fried Tofu(厚揚げ甘辛炒め煮) ☆
Good Morning Everyone. I hope everyone had a Great weekend, today is a Holiday here in Japan so we are enjoying our 3 day holiday. Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Braised Deep-Fried Tofu or 厚揚げ甘辛炒め煮 in Japanese. Our family eat tofu almost everyone day and each time I make a different dish using tofu. This is very easy to make and a great side dish. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
I’m going through some changes on my blogs look and It should be done by this evening I hope.
Well, let’s get started with what we need to make our Braised Deep Fried-Tofu.
Ingredients:
☆ 150g thick deep-fried tofu
☆ 30g pork belly sliced
☆ 1 tsp vegetableoil
☆ 2 tbsp dashi soy sauce
☆ 1/2 tbsp sugar
☆ 50 cc water
Direction:
1.Tear the deep fried tofu into bite size, and cut the pork into bite-size pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan add the dashi soy sauce, sugar, water , and deep fried tofu and simmer briefly, then continue simmer until almost liquid is gone, when done, turn off the heat and place into a bowl, and serve.
