Simmered Cabbage and Deep-Fried Tofu(キャベツと油揚げ煮)

☆Simmerd Cabbage and Deep-Fried Tofu(キャベツと油揚げ煮)☆
Good Morning Everyone, Hope everyone is have a great morning or had a great evening. The weather is great here in Japan and I got the late shift at work today. Well, today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Simmered Cabbage and Deep Fried Tofu or キャベツと油揚げ煮 in Japanese. This is a great side dish for any main course meal and it’s very delicious too. We haven’t had this in awhile so I decided to make this last night for the family. This is very easy to make, I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Well, let’s get started with what we need to make our Simmered Cabbage and Deep Fried Tofu Dish.
Ingredients:
☆ 1 deep fried to fu
☆ 1/4 cabbage
☆ 100 cc dashi stock
☆ 1 tbsp mirin
☆ 1 tbsp light color soy sauce
Direction:
1. Cut the deep- fried tofu into 1㎝ wide pieces and cut the cabbage into bite-size pieces.
2. Pour the dashi stock in a pot, bring to the boil. Add the mirin, soy sauce, and deep-fried tofu sommer for about 1-2 min.
3. Add the cabbage with covered, steam-simmer over a medium heat. When the cabbage to soften,remove the cover, and stir briefly simmer for about 1 min.
This Recipes Serves 2 people. There you have it.
