Celery Rice(セロリご飯)

Good Morning Everyone, Today Feels like its winter in Japan. It is very cold, but a very sunny day outside. The kid don’t have school today due to the flu virus still going around in Japan. The kid are staying indoors cause of the flu and its to cold. Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Celery Rice or セロリご飯 in Japanese. This is a simple Recipe and very delicious. This can be eaten for breakfast or for dinner if you wish. My family usually have this for breakfast with Rolled Omelets and a Soup, I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Well, let’s get stared with what we need to make our Celery Rice.
Ingredients:
☆ 2 cup rice
☆ 1 celery
☆ 2 cup water
☆ 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
☆ salt
Direction:
1. Cut the celery into 3㎜ wide slice. Place the olive oil in a pan, and fry the celery over s medium heat.
2. Add the non wash rice, stir- fry, add the salt, and pour the water and cook over a low heat with cover for about 20 min.
*Your choice, garnish with “grilled MEZASHI fish” (MEZASHI is dried sardine)
