Good Morning Everyone, Have a great weekend where you are?  It’s a nice sunny day here, but a little chilly to go outside today.  But we are going to have a picnic any way, cause the sun is out.  So after I finish this post and answer some question in my comments and respond to friends in their blogs.  We will go to the park near us to have lunch.

Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is called Onion Soup or 簡単オニオンスープ in Japanese.  This is a great recipe for those cold weather, like today.  I made this for the family for breakfast this morning, cause of the chilly morning.  This is very easy to make.  Enjoy.

Let’s get started with what we need to make our Onion Soup.

Ingredients:

☆ 1/2 onion

☆ 400 cc water

☆ 1 cube soup stock bouillon cube

☆ 1/2 tsp konbu salt

☆ pepper

Direction:

1. Cut the onion into thinly slice.

2. Pour the water into a pot, and bring to the boil, add the bouillon cube and onion, when the onion is tender,  adjust the the flavor with konbu salt. Arrange to the bowl or soup cup, sprinkle the pepper.
