• Ingredients:
  • ☆ 300g strawberries
  • ☆ 180g sugar

☆Strawberry Jam(いちごジャム) ☆

Good Afternoon Everyone, Have a great weekend? Me and the family are stay in today as the weather is pretty cold today and the flu bug is still going around in Japan.  Today’s Japanese Cooking Recipe is two types of Jams, Strawberry Jam and Easy Berry Jam.  A very good friend of mine shared this recipe with me.  She told me if I was still buying Jam for the kids and I told her yes.  Then she told me I should make my own Jam.  So I tried it out and it turned out great and the kids loved it.  So here are the 2 recipes. Enjoy

Direction:

1. Cut the strawberries in half. Place the strawberries and half of sugar in a pot, and bring to the boil over low heat, and boiling with crushed strawberries.

2. When it becomes to the boil, simmer while skimming off foam for about 2-3 min, and add the remaining sugar, continue simmer for about 5-6 min.

3. Trandfer the strawberries jam, into the bottle of scald while hot, with covered. let stand cool with upside down the bottle.

easy berry jam☆ Easy Berry Jam(簡単ベリージャム) ☆

Ingredients:

☆ 350g strawberries, cut into the half

☆ 100g blue berries

☆ 2-3 tbsp honey

☆ 120g sugar

Direction:

1. Place the strawberries, blue berry, honey and sugar in a pot, and over a medium heat.

2. When it almost simmered and becomes thickly transfer the jam into some container or bottle.
