- ☆ 100g Yam, peel and grate
- ☆ 8 leaves Green perillas, cut into finely strips
- ☆ soy sauce
- ☆ wasabi
☆Sashimi Cube Tuna(まぐろの角造り) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, Thanks to everyone who has come by daily to see my daily Japanese Style Cooking Recipes. I hope that you are all having a great weekend. We are planning to stay in doors today due to the cold and cloudy weather we have today. So I have to think on what to make for dinner to night and I think I will have the kids help me out, since they like cooking also.
Today’s Japanese Style Cooking is called Sashimi Cube Tuna or まぐろの角造り in Japanese. This is a great dish for when you have guest over and when Tuna is inexpensive at the market. Very easy to make and delicious too. Enjoy.
Direction:
1. Cut the tuna into 2-3 ㎝ wide slices.
2. Pre-heat water to 90℃, and parboil the tuna for about 10 seconds in order to white its surface. Run it under water, and gently remove the excess water.
3. Cut the tuna into 2-3 cm cubes.
4. Serve the tuna in a plate, nd garnish with grated yam, green perillas, wasabi and soy sauce.
