I grew up in Hawaii and raised by my Japanese Grandmother and took care of my Japanese Great Grandmother until she passed at 98. Both could speak english but spoke mostly Japanese to us. The recipes you post remind me of food I grew up on only my Grandmothers never left recipes written so I am very much enjoying being able to make the foods they used to make for me now. I love the “authentic” Japanese foods that you are posting recipes for. Thank you so much! Now my children may experience the same
