• Ingredients:
  • ☆ 400g pinto beans
  • ☆ 400g red kidney beans
  • ☆ 2 onion, minced
  • ☆ 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ☆ 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ☆ 6 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • ☆ 2 tbsp cornmeal
  • ☆ salt and pepper
  • Spice as you like Guidelines;
  • ☆ 2 tbsp oregano
  • ☆ 1 sage
  • ☆ 2 tbsp cumin
  • ☆ 2 tbsp chili pepper
  • ☆ 1/4 tbsp paprika

☆Chili Beans( チリビーンズ) ☆

Direction:

1. Fry the onion and garlic in oil until onion turn golden brown.

2. Add the tomatoes, spices, salt, pepper and 1 cup of the from either pinto beans. Simmer for 5 min.

3. Add the cornmeal, cook slowly for least 1 hour.(If you want to use meat ; fry 400g ground meat with onions and garlic, drain the fat , and follow the recipe.
