☆Curry Udon(カレーうどん) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, Its a beautiful day today and a little bit chilly. I got the late shift today and it looks like the hubby is going to make dinner for the kids. I think he will make Curry Udon cause we had left overs from yesterdays Chicken Curry Dinner.
So Todays Japanese Cooking Style is called Curry Udon or カレーうどん in Japanese. This is very easy to make when you have left over curry from the night before. If not this recipe will help you make this delicious dish for your family. Enjoy
Let see what ingredients we need to make our Curry Udon.
Direction:
1. cut the pork into bite- size pieces, and cut the onion into 2-3㎝ wide slices, cut the green onion into thin slice, and green perilla into julienne strips. Cut the deep- fried tofu into 3㎜ wide strips. And make sure to thin chop the curry roux in oeder to help it dissolve.
2.Heat the oil in a pot, fry the onion and the deep fried tofu. once the ingredients have been oil, add the pork and water, and bring to the boil and skim off the foam.
3. Add the curry roux, reduce to a low heat and slowly mix. When the roux is dissolved, add the soy sauce and konbu cha, thicken by adding the water-dissoled starch and add the green perilla. Serve the heated udo n noodles in a bowl, pour the curry sauce and garnish with the green onion.
