- ☆ 3 potato
- ☆ 1 green pepper
- ☆ 1/3 tbsp red chili pepper
- ☆ 1/3 tsp salt
- ☆ pinch of salt
- ☆ water
- ☆ vegetable oil for deep frying
☆ Samosa(サモサ) ☆
Good morning Everyone, Hope you had a great weekend. As for me, I caught a cold during the weekend and had a slight fever for the pass 2 days. I feel better now, but have to work the afternoon shift today. Well back to the cooking.
Todays Japanese Cooking Style is called Samosa or サモサ in Japanese. This is a very delicious dish and I think your family will love it too. Very simple to make, give it a try and send me some feed back if you don’t mind. Enjoy
Lets see what ingredients we need to make our Samosa, shall we.
Direction:
1. Put the flour, salt, oil and onion seed in a bowl, add the water little by little, mix by hand until dough us as hard as your earlobe.
2. Roll dough into a flat, round shape with a rolling pin, each should be a little larger than the palm of your hand.
3. Cut the green pepper into dice, and microwave potatoes until soft and peel, wash and cut into dice. Fry the potatoes and green pepper in a frying pan, add the salt, red pepper, and cumin seed while frying, add the water so it cover all ingredients, and simmer until the water is gone. And put i a bowl and stir.
4. Cut each pieces of dough in half , fold it and make into a cone shape, add the filling in the tip of the cone and fold, fry in a pan full of oil until light brown color.
