☆Home Made Deep-Fried Tofu Ball(がんもどき) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, another weekend has come and I have to work today. Its all good cause I got the morning shift and I get off the same time as the hubby. I the hubby had some computer trouble yesterday, before going to work. Looks like he stay up all night and got it up and running. Thats great news for us, I thought he was going to tell me this weekend that he needs a new computer.lol
Well back to the cooking, Todays Japanese cooking Style is called Home Made Deep-Fried Tofu Balls or がんもどき in Japanese. This is like making hamburger meat balls but your using tofu instead. This is very easy and tasty, I think your family will love this Healthy recipe. Enjoy
Lets see what we need to make our Home Made Deep-Fried Tofu Balls.
Ingredients:
☆ 2 pack tofu
☆ 2 shiitakemushroom, cut into thinly slice
☆ 5㎝ carrot, cut into 3㎝ lengths strip
☆ 50g bamboo shoot, cut into 3㎝ lengths strip
☆ 1/2 bunch mitsuba, choped
☆ 1/2 tsp sake
☆ 1 tsp soy sauce
☆ a little of sugar
☆ a little of salt
☆ 1 tbsp flour
☆ vegetable oil for deep-frying
Direction:
1. Wrap the tofu in kitchen paper and put some weight on top to drain off excess water.
2. place the tofu in a bowl, and mash, add the sake, soy sauce, sugar, salt and flour, and mix well, add the shiitake mushroom, carroy, bamboo shoot, and mitsuba, and mix well again, shape into 8 balls.
3. Heat the oil to 170℃, deep-fry the tofu- balls, until float to the surface and light brown color.
4. Serve with soy sauce, grated ginger and sudachi.

Probably very tasty, sorry that I can not eat tofu. Can I substitute any other fish?
