☆Dried Plums Compote(プラムコンポート) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, I hope that you had a great Valentines Day as well a great weekend. Mines and the family went very well look forward to my birthday next week. heehee I’m in a bit of a rush here this morning so I have to leave in a bit here. I will post this recipe and finish up writing about it tonight. See you all later.
I’m back. Sorry for taking so long. Well this Cooking Japanese Style recipe is called Dried Plums Compote or プラムコンポート in Japanese. This is a great dessert for the family or when you have guest over the house. It very delicious and also very easy to make. I have friend who usually makes her own dried plums, so when she has some extra she send some over to us. Dried plums are kinda expensive here in Japan. Enjoy
Lets see what we need to make our Dried Plums Compote Dessert.
Ingredients:
☆ 20 dried plums
☆ 4 tbsp honey
☆ 2 tbsp cointreau
☆ 200 cc water
Direction:
1. Place the water, honey and cointreau into a pot, over a medium heat. When the honey is melted, add the plums.
2. Lightly stir, and reduce the low heat, simmer for about 10 min with cover.
3. Let stand cool and serve with Ice cream or Yogurt.
