☆Fruit Salad(フルーツサラダ) ☆
Good morning everyone. Hope that everyone is having a great week so far. We been having great spring weather for the pass couple, and today BAM!! Back to the cold and rain days of a weird winter, it’s suppose to be spring.lol
Well, todays Cooking Japanese Style is a simple recipe called Fruit Salad or フルーツサラダ in Japanese. My family just loves this dish when the fruits are not so expensive at the supermarket or fruit stands near where we live. I make this when the kids have their friends over the house on the weekends or when I’m n the mood of eating fruits. Enjoy
Let see what fruits we will need to make our Fruit Salad. You can also add fruits that you like to this recipe also.
Direction:
1. Peel the mango and cut into small bite-size pieces, cut the banana and grapefruit into same size of mango, and sprinkle the lemon juice on top the banana. Chop the spearmint leaves into mince.
2. Put the grapefruit, mango, and banana in a bowl, add the honey and minced spearmint and dress well, and finally, sprinkle th chili pepper and pepper on top, and mix briefly.

This salad looks so delicious. A lot of people have the misconception that salad has to be the typical lettuce and vegetables with ranch dressing. There’s so many options. I love learning new recipes! I can’t wait to try this one out! Thanks for the recipe and the picture. Hopefully mine comes out looking and tasting just as great!
