• Ingredients:
  • ☆ 2 pack tofu
  • ☆ 1 1/2 cup meat sauce ( store-bought)
  • ☆ 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • ☆ 200g pizza cheese
  • ☆ salt
  • ☆ pepper
  • ☆ 2 tbsp olive oil

☆Tofu Lasagna(豆腐ラザニア) ☆

Good Morning Everyone, hope that you all having a great weekend so far.  Its a sunny day here in Japan.  Been watching the news this whole morning, and it looks like North Eastern shores of Japan is getting hit by the Tsunami.  Which was created from the 8.8 Earth Quake in Chili, they have just announced that all shore be evacuated.  According to the news it has produced waves 2 ~ 3 meters high.  No major damage has been report so far.  As for us we are okay, we live in Osaka near Kyoto Prefecture.  We will see how things go through out the day.

Well, back to the Cooking.  Todays Cooking Japanese Style is called Tofu Lasagna or 豆腐ラザニア in Japanese.  This is a very delicious dish and easy to make for the family.  If you are looking for something new to try this is one of the recipe I recommend you try.  If you can make lasagna, its made the same way.  Your just substituting the hamburger with Tofu. Enjoy

Lets see what we need to make our Tofu Lasagna recipe.

Direction:

1. Wrap thr tofu in kitchen paper for about 15 min to drain, and cut each into five slices.

2. Put the olive oil in a frying pan and turn the heat on medium, add the tofu , and season with salt and pepper, brown the tofu slowly on both side, turn off the heat, and set aside.

3. Preheat the oven 250℃, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish place the tofu on top, pour the cream on and sprinkle with the cheese, spread another layer of meat sauce, arrange another layer of tofu on top, add the cream, the remaining meat sauce and cheese. Bake in the oven for 20-30 min.
