☆Fried Oyster with Miso Butter(牡蠣の味噌バター炒め) ☆
Hello everyone, sorry I didn’t have any entry for this post yesterday. Recently there has been a lot of changes go on at work and they have me working the early shift and I don’t have any access to any computer at work. So I had the hubby post this before he went to work.
Well, This Cooking Japanese Style is called Fried Oyster with Miso Butter or 牡蠣の味噌バター炒め in Japanese. This is a very delicious dish to make for the family. We usually have this during the winter season when the oyster are in season and very big. This is one my hubby’s favorite dishes. You can have this as a main dish or a side dish with any main course meal. Enjoy
Lets see what we need to make our Fried Oyster with Miso Butter.
Ingredients
☆ 350g oyster
☆ 1/2 long green onion
☆ 1 tbsp sake
☆ 1 tbsp miso
☆ 2 tsp sugar
☆ 1 tbsp butter
Direction
1. Wash the oyster briefly, cut the long green onion into thinly diagonal slice.
2. Heat the butter in a pan, add the oyster and long green onion, and fry.

I'm happily married for 8 years and have 5 lovely children. I'm from Japan as my husband is from Hawaii. I love learning new things, share new ideas, making new friends, and most of all love blogging.

I think this one has a lot of calories seeing as it makes use of oyster and butter. But I feel that this would be delicious. Things with butter are yummy and I love oysters.

I wonder why it is considered a winter dish? I mean is there any difference between a summer and a winter dish? And with what wine should it be served?
