- Ingredients:
- ☆ 60g chicken breast
- ☆ 20g white beech shimeji mushrooms
- ☆ 2 pieces of shitake mushrooms
- ☆ 1/3 onion cut into small pieces
- ☆ 1/2 ginger
- ☆ 1/2 tbsp of ketchup
- ☆ 1/2 tbsp of butter
- ☆ 2 tsp of soy sauce
- ☆ 1/2 tbsp of Japanese sake
- ☆ 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- ☆ salt and pepper at your prefences
☆Butter Chicken Rice (バター チキンライス)☆
Good Morning Everyone, hope that your all having a great day and looking forward to the weekend. It’s been rain for the pass few days here and hopefully it will clear up during the weekend so that we can view the blooming of the Sakura Flowers(Cherry Blossom) near our house. We’ll just have to see what the weather man say this afternoon.
Well, today’s Cooking Japanese Style is called Butter Chicken Rice or バター チキンライス in Japanese. This was submitted from one of my hubby’s friends who lives by himself and single. He thought this would be a great recipe for the single guys out there, cause it easy to make and delicious. Enjoy
Lets see what we need to make our Butter Chicken Rice.
Directions:
1. First of all we need to cut our chicken into small bit size, cut your shitake into small sizes, lightly wash and separate the shimeji mushroom, and lastly fine grade the ginger.
2. Add your vegetable oil to a frying pan and lightly brown your onions and ginger. When this is done added the chicken, shitake mushrooms and shimeji mushrooms to the frying pan and cook well. (make sure that your heats is on medium low for this).
3. Now we need to add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all together in the frying pan. This should take about 3 ~ 4 minutes.
4. Lastly get a small bowl and add your freshly cooked rice and add your Butter Chicken on top of the rice.
