☆Fried Duck with Honey-Miso(鴨のはちみつ味噌の漬け焼き) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, today it feels like its winter here. For the next couple day it will be very cold and windy. This weekend we went to see if the Sakura Flowers were blooming, but it looks like we have to wait another week or so. So we will see next weekend if they are blooming.
Todays Cooking Japanese Style is called Fried Duck with Honey Miso or 鴨のはちみつ味噌の漬け焼き in Japanese. This is a very delicious dish and my family just love this recipe. We usually have to go to a specialty meat shop for us to buy duck, cause they usually don’t sell it in the supermarkets. They are also a little expensive too. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Lets see what ingredients we need to make our Fried Duck with Honey Miso.
Direction:
1. combine the honey and miso, and mix. Then, coat the honey-miso to the duck, let stand for 4 hours.
2. Cut the long green onion into julienne strips, soak it in cold water, and drain well.
3. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the duck both side ( medium rare). Arrange the duck in a plate, and garnish with long green onion and lemon or kabosu.

Wow I love duck, and I bet it tastes so good with honey. That delicious duck taste mixed with a hint of sweetness. I think I just might try this one out. Too bad I can’t cook to save my life.
