☆Tuna and Avocado Donburi( まぐろとアボカド丼) ☆
Good Morning Everyone, finally the sunny has come out from the long and heavy rain of yesterday. It was suppose to cold today, but it looks like the sun will keep us warm for the day.
Here on Cooking Japanese Style we have a great delicious recipe with video called Tuna and Avocado Donburi or まぐろとアボカド丼 in Japanese. If you love your California Rolls, I’m sure you will love this recipe and so will your family. My hubby bought some tuna the other day and said, “we should make a video of this donburi”. Since the tuna is a little cheaper then before now. I hope you enjoy this recipe as well as the video.
Let’s see what we need to make our Tuna and Avocado Donburi.
Direction:
1. Cut the tuna into 1㎝ thick slice and bite-size pieces, and onion is cut into thinly slice, and soak in cold water, drain and squeeze excess out of water.
2. Place the tuna and onion in a bowl, add the soy sauce and chili pepper water, mix well. Let stand for about 1 hour.
3. Place the cooked rice, cut the avocado into bite-size, and put on the rice. Put the tuna on top of the rice, pour over the soy sauce your taste.

Konnichiwa! Domo arigato gozaimos! I enjoyed your video so much, I cannot wait to try this and serve it to my very good japanese friend Kaori. I know she will enjoy this very much. I have been living in Japan, on Okinawa, for just a little over a year now and I have been enjoying eating and cooking all the different foods here. My husband David does a lot of fishing around the Island and he just caught a 130LB blue marlin yesterday! He was and still is very excited, he has been trying for 2 years to catch one! I am very happy for him too! I look forward to trying many of your recipes, first one I will do with the Mustard Sauce for the Marlin. I love the mustard sauce for the fishes. OISHI! So again I thank you for your site, it will help me very much to turn me into expert Japanese Chef! I love cooking! Have a beautiful and peaceful day! ~Veronica ( I will let you know how it turns out!)
