• Ingredients:
  • ☆ 2 celery
  • ☆ 2 fig
  • ☆ 5 walnut
  • For Champagne Vinaigrette Sauce:
  • ☆ 1 tbsp champagne vinegar
  • ☆ 1/4 mustard(grain mustard)
  • ☆ 1 tsp mayonnaise
  • ☆ salt and pepper
  • ☆ olive oil

 

☆Fig and Celery with Champagne Vinaigrette Salad(いちじくとセロリのシャンパンヴィネガーサラダ) ☆

Good Morning Everyone, hope that your week went very well.  Yesterday ending the long “Golden Week” Holiday here in Japan and the Hubby took us shopping in Umeda, Osaka.  He bought the kids what they wanted and he got me what I wanted for a while.  A I-touch and Drawing tablet for my Mac, now I’m trying to figure out how to use the I-touch.lol

Well, today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Fig and Celery with Champagne Vinaigrette Salad or いちじくとセロリのシャンパンヴィネガーサラダ in Japanese.  I think this is a very healthy salad and very easy to make with any meat as your main course dinner.  This is very easy to make and very delicious also.  The sauce I think is the main ingredient in this salad and it bring out the taste as well. Enjoy

Lets see what ingredients we need to make our Fig and Celery with Champagne Vinaigrette Salad.

Direction:

1. Cut the celery into thinly rectangles pieces. Peel the fig and cut it into thinly wedges pieces, and toast the walnut and crush.

2. Combine the all ingredients of Champagne vinaigrette sauce and mix well.

3. Place the celery, fig,and walnut in a bowl, pour over the olive oil a little. Then dressing with champagne vinaigrette sauce.

This recipe Serves 2 ~ 3 people. There you have it.
