- Ingredients:
- ☆ 2.5g gelatine (combine the 1 tbsp water and mix)
- ☆ 300g sweet potato
- ☆ 200cc coconut milk
- ☆ 2-3 tbsp sugar
- ☆ 1 tbsp rum
- ☆vanilla essence
- For Coating Cream:
- ☆ 100g black chocolate
- ☆ a little of fresh cream
☆Martiniquais style Cake(マルティニーク風ケーキ) ☆
Good morning Everyone, hope your all having a great weekend so far. Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a lovely dessert called Martiniquais Style Cake or マルティニーク風ケーキ in Japanese. A friend of mines bought this recipe to me a couple weeks ago and wanted me to share this on my blog. I haven’t tried this cake yet, but what my friend had told me it is very delicious. I think I will try to make this cake in the next couple weeks to see how it turns out. I hope you enjoy making this dessert and if you try it, please let me know how yours turned out.
Now lets see what we need to make our Martiniquais Style Cake.
Direction:
1. Peel and cut the sweet potato into round and place in a pot. Pour in enough water so that the sweet potato is completely and simmer. When it become the tender, mash and simmer.
2. When it almost liquid is gone, add the coconut milk and sugar and mix. When the sugar had melt and remove from the heat and let stand cool so that in cold water whole pot.
3. When it cooled and add the rum, vanilla and gelatin and mix well. Place it into square container and let stand in refrigerator.
4. Combine the melted chocolate and little of fresh cream. Remove the cake from container and coating with chocolate cream.
This recipe Serves 5 ~ 6 people. There you have it.
