Good Morning Everyone, hope that your weekend is going well. Well, it’s a rainy day here in Japan and it looks like we are staying in for the day. Oh well, I guess I will play around with my itouch. lol
Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a very delicious recipe called Steak Marinated with Miso or 味噌漬けのステーキ in Japanese. This very easy to make and you can use your favorite miso if you have one that you like. Instead of using the one I have listed. My family just loves this recipe, just it has meat + miso. lol Well, I hope that you enjoy this recipe and send some feed back if you have tried this recipe.
Lets See what we need to make our Steak Marinated with Miso.
Direction:
1. Make to miso marinade : Combine the miso, sake, mirin and sugar into a pan, and bring to a boil. Stiring over low heat to about 20 min until the sauce is thicken.
2. Spread 2 tbsp of the marinade on each side of the steaks and cover with plastic wrap. Let stand in a refrigerator for 1-2 days.
3. After 1-2 days, remove the marinade from the steaks with a spatula and cut into bite size pieces. Grill the steaks on both sides. Serve with wasabi and sudachi etc, your taste.

seems delicious, I’m gonna cook it cause I like to cook and try something new
Miso will surely add up some spice to the steak. The first time I tasted Miso flavor in one of the dishes my friend prepared it was odd tasting but after incorporating it to my other dishes I’m now used to it and loving it. Thanks for the endless recipes.
Because of Miso’s sour taste it would be nice to add some sugar to make it a little bit sweet and sour. Perfect marinate indeed. Thanks.
