Good Morning Everyone, its a beautiful day today and my last day off for the week before going back to work tomorrow. Ahh so relaxing and I got alot of things done too.
Today on Cooking Japanese Style we have a very delicious dessert for you called Savarin or サヴァラン in Japanese. A friend of mine wanted to share this dessert with my readers and I got to taste this a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. My family just love blueberries and I think this will one of their favorites. Enjoy
Lets see what we need to make our Savarin Dessert.
Direction:
1. Cut the bread in half. Place the wanter, tea leaf, and sugar in a small pan and bring to boil. When the sugar melted, filter it. Place the pan over a low heat and add the bread and simmer for about 30 second. Remove the bread from pan and put to the other plate.
2. Simmer the syrup of “1 ” and remove it from heat. Let stand cool. And add the lemon juice and dark rum.
3. Pour over the syrup to bread and cover with plastic wrap and let stand in refrigerator for over night.
4. Combine the fresh cream and brown sugar and whisk then until soft and creamy. Place the savarin on a dish, garnish with cream and blueberries.
