☆Carrot and Tuna Salad(にんじんとツナのサラダ) ☆

Good Morning Everyone, Hope that you are having a great weekend.  It’s been a very busy weekend here, we had to host my hubby’s Work party last night at one of our friend restaurants in Takatsuki.  We stayed there longer then we thought we would.  So I’m a little sleepy today, but I need to get ready for our Mondays video.  Hhhmm I have to think what to make tonight.

Well, today on Cooking Japanese Style we have recipe called Carrot and Tuna Salad or にんじんとツナのサラダ in Japanese.  This is a very healthy and simple recipe to make for the family.  I will also explain how to make the dressing to make for this salad also or you can use one of your favorites. Enjoy

Lets see what ingredients we need to make our Carrot and Tuna Salad and Dressing.

Ingredients:

☆ 200g carrot

☆ 3 tbsp finely chopped onion

☆ 1 tsp finely chopped garlic

☆ 1 tbsp olive oil

☆ 1 small can of tuna

For Dressing:

☆ 1 tbsp wine vinegar

☆ 1 tbsp grain mustard

☆ 1 tbsp lemon juice

☆ salt and pepper

☆ light soy sauce

Direction:

1. Cut the carrot into 5-6㎝ julienne strips. Place the them in a microwave resistant bowl and add the onion, garlic and olive oil and mix.

2. Cover the loosely plastic wrap and microwave on 600w for 1.30 min.

3. Remove the wrap and mix lightly and add the drained tuna and the dressing ingredients. Mix together.

4. Chill in the refrigerator to allow the dressing to soak into the carrot.

This recipe Serves 4 people. There you have it. Hope you enjoy this, until next time let’s cook together. 次回は一緒に作りましょう~^^/~~ PS: If you enjoy my Daily recipe subscribe to my RSS Feed and I also have available my first e-Book, which is FREE to you for coming by and reading my Cooking Japanese Style.
